The following 3 part celestial navigation video series demonstrates celestial navigation using the StarPilot for Apple iPhone/iPod Touch. Sight planning features of the StarPilot are discussed in detail with examples. The videos illustrate the use of the StarPilot software in typical sextant and celestial navigation scenarios. The video illustrates the use of the StarPilot software in typical sextant and celestial navigation scenarios. Running fixes are computed both electronically and by plotting LOPs (lines of position) on a chart.
