READ THIS BEFORE INSTALLING THE PROGRAM
THE LICENSE AGREEMENT BELOW DEFINES YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT AND INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT.
If you do not accept or agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions set forth below, you may, within seven (7) days, return the software unregistered and unused to the person from whom you acquired it for a full refund.
SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT This agreement is a license agreement between you and StarPilot, LLC ("StarPilot") for the use of the enclosed STARPILOT ("the Software").
The Software is protected by both United States and International copyright law. Therefore, you must treat this license and the Software just like a book, with the following exceptions: you agree, pursuant to the license, not to rent or least the Software in any form. You may transfer any uninstalled Software if the recipient agrees in writing to the terms of the license and register with StarPilot. You may not make any copies of the Software, except that you may make one archival copy of the Software and Documentation, for the sole purpose of backing up your Software and protecting your investment from loss. These copies must include any copyright notice on the Software or the Documentation. In addition you may not modify, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software.
Windows PC version
The software must be registered in order to complete the installation and run on your computer. If you own two computers, you may register and install the program on both computers, provided the software will not be run simultaneously on both. This is an end-user license, not a multiple computer license. The simultaneous operation of this program on more than one computer is in violation of this agreement. The Software may be registered a total of 3 times in the lifetime of the product, regardless of the number of computers used or the configuration of individual computers used. Any requirement for simultaneous use on more than one computer or any requirement for more than three (3) registrations will require a separate purchase. Registrations are not reversible nor transferable to other computers.
TI calculator versions
The software may be loaded into one calculator only. Once the software is registered into a specific calculator it can be removed from that calculator but cannot be loaded into any other calculator. If the registered calculaor is lost or destroyed, then the value of the software is lost with it. A new calculator would require a new sofwarte purchase.

This license is not a sale. Title and copyrights to the Software, accompanying Documentation and any copy made by you remain with StarPilot. Unauthorized copying of the Software or accompanying Documentation or failure to comply with the above restrictions, will result in automatic termination of this license and will make available to StarPilot other legal remedies. Upon any termination of this license, or return of the Software to StarPilot, you must return all copies of the Software and Documentation to StarPilot, and erase any copies from your hard disk.
SOFTWARE LIMITED WARRANTY This warranty applies to the Software, the use of which is hereby licensed, the media on which it is supplied, and the Documentation supplied with it. StarPilot warrants for ninety (90) days from the date of delivery that the media on which the Software is supplied will be free from any defects in material and workmanship. StarPilot further warrants for the same period that the Software, under normal use, will substantially perform as described in the Documentation.
StarPilot’s entire liability and your exclusive remedy under this warranty (which is subject to you returning the Software to StarPilot or its designated representative with a copy of your receipt) will be, at StarPilotÂ’s option, to attempt to correct or help you around errors with efforts which StarPilot believes suitable to the problem, to replace the Software with functionally equivalent software or diskettes, as applicable, or to refund the purchase price and terminate this Agreement.
Except for the prior express limited warranties, StarPilot makes, and you receive, no warranties, express, implied statutory or any communication with you, and StarPilot specifically disclaims any implied warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose, StarPilot does not warrant that the operation of the Software will be uninterrupted or error free.
LIMITS OF LIABILITY This Software is intended for training purposes and is not to be used for navigation in any way. In no event will StarPilot be liable for any damages including damage to vessels or property, loss of life, or other consequences of navigation. StarPilot will neither be liable for loss of data, lost profits, cost of cover or other special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages arising from the use of the software or accompanying documentation, however caused and on any theory of liability. This limitation will apply even if StarPilot or any authorized dealer has been advised of the possibility of such damage. You acknowledge that the license fee reflects this allocation or risk.
GOVERNMENT USE Use, duplication or disclosure by the U.S. Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in FAR 52.227-19 (Commercial Computer Software-Restricted Rights) and DFAR 252.227-7013(c)(l)(ii) (Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software), as applicable.
GENERAL This agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington and not by the 1980 U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
This agreement is the entire agreement between us and supersedes any other communication or advertising with respect to the program and accompanying Documentation.
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, the remainder of this Agreement will continue in full force and effect.
